The classic Inca Trail to Machu Picchu is one of the most sought after treks in the world and permits sell out fast. Reserve your place with Incas Expert.
From high Andean peaks to misty cloud forest, the Inca Trail traverses the kinds of landscapes that feed your sense of wanderlust. Beginning in the Sacred Valley outside of Cusco, a 500 year old stone path built for exclusive use by the Inca king and his entourage today takes a limited number of trekkers on a 4-day, 28-mi (45-km) journey past ruins with names like “town in the clouds.” Waiting at the end of this challenging trek is an unforgettable first look at Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate entrance.
